NowBop Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account information. Your email address (for email-code sign-in), or your Google account profile (name, email, Google user ID) if you sign in with Google.
• Content you create. Song requests: the story or lyrics you type, selected mood/style/language, and the generated lyrics, audio recordings and music videos produced for you.
• Usage data. Basic device and request logs (device identifier, IP address, timestamps) used for security, rate limiting and abuse prevention.
• Purchase data. Google Play handles payments; we receive your purchase tokens and entitlement status. We never see your payment card details.

2. How we use it

• To operate the service: generating the songs and music videos you request, maintaining your library, and syncing your account across devices.
• To personalize your experience (e.g., remembering your preferred singers, language and settings).
• To detect abuse, enforce daily limits, and keep the platform safe.
• To send service-related emails (verification codes, receipts). Marketing emails are opt-in only.

3. AI generation and third parties

• Songs, lyrics and music videos are generated by AI. To produce them, your prompts and lyrics are processed by our AI infrastructure and by third-party model providers (including DeepSeek and Zhipu for text, and audio/video generation services) strictly to fulfill your request.
• Audio and video files you generate are stored on our servers so you can play and share them.
• We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content to train third-party models.

4. Data retention and deletion

• Your songs, videos and library items are kept until you delete them or delete your account.
• You can request account deletion from within the app or by emailing support@nowhug.com. We will delete your account data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal compliance.

5. Children

NowBop is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

6. Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g., EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us at support@nowhug.com to exercise them.

7. Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you in the app before they take effect.
